TabTrade — The Short Version
TabTrade.com opened in March 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection matters. It suggests the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience.
The broker opened with Equinix data centre access in London. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Unusual for a new broker.
Market coverage: FX, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, shares, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. A wide spread. For a broker that is a few months old, the breadth is broad.
Platforms
They offer: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both platforms from a single account. Many pick one platform. Access to both makes a difference. Use whichever you prefer.
MT5 is what most people know. Full charting, EAs, massive community. If you have used MT4 or MT5 previously, it is familiar territory.
cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 after comparing.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for automated strategies but requires the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is reportedly coming. That should round things out when it arrives.
Accounts and Pricing
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Suits people who want simple pricing.
Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your all-in cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is good for an offshore broker. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. This broker does not.
VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not relevant to most retail traders. Skip it unless you move real size.
How Fast Are the Fills
The speed is where TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. The average platform operate at 100ms to 300ms.
Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. But the fact that the setup is serious. That says what kind of broker this is.
Pair those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get makes sense. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit run Equinix connectivity.
The FSRA Question
Now, the detail that matters. The broker is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not pay for Equinix connectivity. That does not make it safe. But inform your assessment.
The deal: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether the trade-off works comes down to your priorities.
The Bonus
Tab Trade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Typical deposit match. You deposit, they add bonus funds. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you commit.
