Who Is Tab Trade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal

Tab Trade — What It Is

Tab Trade went live in Q1 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.

That last detail tells you something. It suggests the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.

They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Unusual for a new broker.

What you can trade: FX, indices, metals, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For something that launched in March 2026, that coverage is not narrow.

Platforms

Available: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both platforms from one account. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Having both is useful. Pick what suits your style.

MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have used MT4 or MT5 before, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. Faster charting. cBot support. Many people like it better than MT5 after comparing.

FIX API is offered for algo traders but needs the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is said to be in the works. That will round things out when it arrives.

Costs

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Easy to track. Zero deposit requirement. Works for beginners.

Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often under 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade sometimes sits under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.

VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not something most retail traders. Skip it unless you move real size.

Execution Speed

The execution is the thing TabTrade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. Most retail brokers run a much wider range.

Does it matter? If you scalp, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, you will not notice. The point is the setup is serious. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Put together that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the total package is strong. Few brokers at this price point offer execution like this.

Regulation

Now, the detail that matters. The broker is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a dealbreaker, look elsewhere. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.

But. The founder came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The server placement costs real money. Scam brokers do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. It does factor into your decision.

The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal makes sense comes down to your priorities.

Deposit Bonus

TabTrade has a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Typical welcome offer. You fund your account, TabTrade credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Check the terms before you commit.
